We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, update, add, or remove portions of the Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. Please make sure you regularly check the Terms and Conditions for changes. Your continued use of this website following the posting of changes to the Terms and Conditions will mean you accept those changes.

Products and prices

All goods supplied remains property of Contemporary Living Solutions until payment is received in full. Any orders placed is only accepted by Contemporary Living Solutions on this basis.
All products are subject to availability.

Product Description

Our shop offers original designer products, all new and of the highest possible quality, sourced from carefully selected suppliers. We do not sell second-choice or sub-standard merchandise.
We endeavour to describe the products as carefully and as accurately as possible: sizes and measurements are correct, while weights are provided solely to assess shipping costs and because they take into account the volume and the packaging of each product, they are approximate.
Photographs should be intended for illustrative purposes only. Colours may vary depending on the settings and resolution of your screen and because many of the items we feature are either hand-made or come in many different styles and colours, the actual product on sale may be different in colour and/or size from its picture. Please read carefully every item's description and measurements before ordering, and do not hesitate to contact us if you are in doubt.

Prices

It is our policy to make sure you get value for your money, and we strive to keep our prices competitive without compromising quality and customer care.
All prices shown in the web-site are correct at the time of entering, however please note that our suppliers do change their prices without notice, and therefore our prices are subject to change too.
All prices are in Pound Sterling (GBP), and they do not include delivery.

Order Acceptance and Fulfilling

All orders submitted to Contemporary Living Solutions are subject to availability and to our express acceptance. No order shall be considered accepted by Contemporary Living Solutions until Contemporary Living Solutions issue a confirmation email containing a unique order reference number and the expected delivery date. We usually process any order the same day we receive it, but during busy times or bank holidays it may take up to two business days for us to get back to you.
All orders will be acknowledged by email within two working days, even if it is not possible for us to accept it. All orders will be fulfilled subjects to these Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to cancel any order - in full or in part - for any reason whatsoever, and we will refund the payment you've made for each cancelled item. In such circumstance, we endeavour to notify you within 2 business days and we will explain why a cancellation was necessary.

Payments and Deliveries

Orders can be placed on-line, by post or by phone, and can be paid for with all major credit/debit cards and cheques. You will find more information about ordering products and making payments in the 'how to order' pages of this web-site.

We deliver in the UK and all over the world. For UK addresses a contribution towards delivery costs will be added during the check out. For non UK addresses P&P is charged at cost, and it will be agreed separately. For complete information about delivery times and charges please read here.

Order Cancellation

You can cancel your order for any reason before the products are dispatched or - in case of made-to-order, customised or special order products - before the order is passed to the manufacturer, and any payments you have made will be refunded in full within 21 days.
To cancel your order simply contact us with your order reference number on 01491 680 223 or send us an e-mail using our contact form. You can type "order cancellation" in the subject heading.

If the items have already been sent out or your order has already been passed to the supplier, it will not be possible to cancel your order. In such case, you can return the products in line with our returns policy.
You will know if a product is made to order by reading the item's description. If the products you chose are not available on the web-site or if you made a special order, we'll ensure you are fully informed about our cancellation policy before accepting your order.

Returns policy

We are confident you'll be delighted with the quality and design of our products. However, if for any reason you change your mind you can return most of the items within 10 days from receipt and we will be happy to offer you a refund or an exchange - whichever you prefer. Replacements are subject to availability. The products must be received by us within 15 days in perfect resaleable condition, with their original packaging. Used, washed, modified or damaged items will not be refunded.

The following services and products are excluded from our standard returns policy, and will not be refunded unless they are faulty or damaged:
- the gift-wrapping service is always non refundable,
- special high volume orders, i.e. for commercial premises and/or interior design projects are likely to be non refundable,
- products that have been customised, made-to-order or are expecially ordered are either non-refundable or a re-stocking fee of 25-30% will be applicable.
You'll find it clearly stated in the item's description when a product is excluded from the standard Returns Policy. If you make a special order or if the products you wish to purchase are not readily available from the web-site, we will always make sure you are fully aware of our returns policy before processing your order.

To return any products to us, please contact us within 10 days of receipt clearly stating whether you would like a refund or a replacement. You can contact us by phone (01491 680 223), or by e-mail, using our contact form. Please type "return" in the subject heading, with your order reference number. If you received the products as a gift, we will need the receipt we sent to the person who placed the order. Please fill out the return form on the back of the sale receipt included in your parcel, pack the goods making sure you include their original packaging, and send them to us:

With particularly fragile or valuable merchandise we reserve the right to nominate the carrier. If sending back the products yourself, we recommend you use recorded delivery and keep proof of postage, as we cannot accept liability for parcels lost or damaged in transit. Please be aware that proof of posting does not constitute proof of receipt or delivery, but it will entitle you to claim with the delivery company.
For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required pay for the return of the products to us. Shipping costs for the delivery of the purchased products will not be refunded.
If you opted for an exchange, replacement goods will be sent to you at no extra cost (subject to availability).

faulty/damaged goods

Every item is individually inspected and carefully packed before shipping. Please make sure you check the goods when you receive them and report damaged parcels when you sign the receipt, so that we can claim with the delivery company (more info here).
In the unlikely event that goods are faulty or damaged when you receive them, please contact us within 2 days of delivery and we'll promptly rectify the situation. We will ship your replacement goods within 15 days from receiving your returns, at no extra cost for you. If a replacement is not possible or if you opt for a refund, we will refund you the cost of the purchase in full. All reasonable delivery costs in returning the goods to us will also be refunded.

Refunds

Please always make sure you've informed us that you are returning a product. All returned products must reach us within 15 days from the day you received them, and are subject to inspection. When we receive the goods we will inform you via email. If the conditions set out above are met, we'll notify you that your returns have been accepted and your refund or replacement will be issued within 21 days.
Refunds are issued via PayPal or by personal cheque, depending on how you paid for your order and on where you are based (UK or abroad).
Please note that all refunds to overseas orders will be done in Pound Sterling (GBP) for the exact amount charged by us. Contemporary Living Solutions can not be held responsible for any variations in exchange rates and consequent loss of money as a result of them.
