Whether you are looking to add some colour to a room or define different areas of your home, multi-purpose dividers are the perfect furnishing to complement open-plan living. Here are some of the solutions that inspired us:
Cloud by Cappellini and Geko by Caimi Brevetti are a modular double-faced bookcase and a screen respectively. They share the very same concept, which is the repetition of a single element that can be interlocked (Geko) or aligned (Cloud) to create infinitely extendable partitioning structures. Cloud is produced in white, red, light or dark green polyethylene. Dfferent modules can be aligned or stacked with clips, and each module measures w187.5 x d40 x h105 cm. Geko is made from single elements wich can be linked with each other in different combinations. It comes in a variety of bright colours and is sold in boxes of 25 pieces, enough to cover an area of about 1sqm.
For a more traditional look or a quick room make-over, Epoque by Seletti is a luxurious curtain made from soft yarns. Easily applied with a velcro system, Epoque is an elegant and affordable way to decorate a room or to carve out that private study you've always wanted.
